getting settled into this new life. she knows who mom and dad are, she knows what she likes (and doesn't like), loves getting wet kisses from her big brother & sister, but doesn't like tummy time very much
today didn't start out as one of her happiest days,
but that's life... it isn't always all smiles...
but things turned around, and she ended up having a great session

What a beautiful sweet baby girl! I just love getting to photograph newborns. Sometimes you forget how small they can be. It's hard to remember my boys ever being that tiny, they grow up way too fast.
I had a chance to use my new posing beanbag that my AWESOME aunt helped me make, and some new blankets (thank you Sharon!). After getting some posed images, we got some lifestyle shots as well. What I like about lifestyle photography is the connection between people that is captured. You can see the love in their eyes for their new baby girl. Ahhh, tugs at your heart, doesn't it? :)
Looks like her big brother and sister are going to be very protective over this little one. They are so gentle with her, and love to give her kisses. :)

This may be my favorite picture of this little guy. I do love smiles, but there is just something about pictures where they aren't smiling. Makes you wonder, what are they thinking???
